Want to learn the power of GLOW? Be sure not to miss our monthly networking luncheon and a great presentation by keynote speaker Katie Macks of Get Your GLOW On, Wed., May 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Grandview Pavilion, 300 Island Drive, Alameda.

A long-time EBWN member, Katie says that we human beings are bound by our thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, attitudes and assumptions. Most people, women in particular, can get stuck in their careers and life by placing limits on themselves.

About Katie Macks

Katie developed a passion for helping women change these “false” perceptions, and to break down the barriers that prevent them from living an extraordinary life. With unbounded energy, Katie aligned her skills as a leadership and relationship coach with her background in psychology to start her business, Get Your GLOW On, LLC. GLOW is an acronym for Growing, Loving, Opening and Willing.

Through personal training and her popular workshops, Katie has been helping women reframe their lives by reconnecting with their inner GLOW. They learn how to recognize their gifts and liberate their raw, real, feminine selves so that they can more effectively share their gifts with the world.

About EBWN

EBWN is a thriving networking organization for women in business. We hold monthly meetings and other events, and offer our members and guests the opportunity to make connections with dynamic, like-minded business women. Gentlemen are also welcome. We motivate each other, inform, educate and have fun! With a diverse membership of 100+ women, you are certain to gain inspiration and learn something new each time.

EBWN is Socially Responsible

Each month we hold an Opportunity Drawing, with all proceeds going to support our community service partners:

We encourage our members and guests to bring a donation for the opportunity drawing. It can be a sample of your products or services, gift cards, books or other items. Feel free to use your imagination and make some lucky winner happy. It’s also a great way to capture the attention of the present audience and promote your services or products. We ask that the value of your donation be at least $25.

Behind the Scenes

If you choose to, join other EBWN members who volunteer on the board of directors or committees to help keep the organization strong and moving forward in its mission.
