Susan Strong is a Business Coach and Strategic HR Consultant with Advicoach, a National Franchise Brand whose parent company has been in business over 32 years, with over 100 coaches throughout the country. After a 30 year career working as a business advisor, mentor and coach to executives, management and employees with companies such as PG&E, Wells Fargo, Genentech, Adaptec, and Logitech to name a few, and was a solo practitioner as an HR Consultant to small to medium sized companies, when in 2009 she bought her business coaching practice. Her passion is to help small-medium sized businesses grow to their full potential and create for the owners, the life that they dreamed of when starting their business. She loves to see owners get excited again about their business as they create a more valuable company. and knows that most owners need an objective party to confide in and get beyond their own blind spots.
Susan is a 4th generation California and a graduate of UC Berkeley. She currently is a Director on the Alameda Chamber of Commerce Board, President of the Alameda Business Networking group, and on the Business Advisory Board to the business schools at both Diablo Valley College and John F. Kennedy University. Susan has been a board member of the Children’s Hospital Family House and been a volunteer for most of her life with the Oakland Museum White Elephant Sale.
Susan is an avid tennis player, a reluctant golfer, and a lover of local sports teams (especially Cal Football). Susan has traveled extensively, is a voracious reader and is a regular at the Alameda Antique Fair and local estate sales.
