EBWN invites you to joins us on August 5, 2015 for another amazing networking luncheon. We are honored to have Cora Lewis as our featured speaker. Cora, an attorney, comes to us with an impressive resume and some extremely valuable content for current and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Cora has been an attorney for over 30 years. Her private practice emphasizes effective legal solutions and strategies for clients in the areas of law encompassing wills, estates, trusts and business.
As in-house counsel for some of America’s leading corporations, Cora practiced corporate, commercial and business law for over 20 years. At Fair Isaac and Company, Inc. in San Rafael (developers of the FICO credit score technology), she served as Associate General Counsel for 5 years. Prior to that, she held various corporate counsel positions at Del Monte Corporation and Kaiser Cement Corporation. Cora is a certified financial planner and a former IRS tax auditor.
Cora values community involvement. She has served as a member of the Alameda County Advisory Steering Committee and the Women’s Initiative for Self-Employment. She was also on the board for a City of Oakland sponsored small business incubator, and is a past president of the Board of Directors of Big Brothers of the East Bay.
Cora Lewis holds a J.D. from the Boalt Hall School of Law at U.C. in Berkeley, California where she was on the Law Review. She also has a B.A. in English Literature from Mills College, Oakland, CA. Extremely active in her profession, she was a grader for the California State Bar examination for over 18 years. Cora also taught at the East Bay School of Law and at the Keller Graduate School of Management.

East Bay Women’s Network does not allow refunds for the monthly meetings. Once we provide a count to the Grandview Pavilion, we are responsible for paying for each person accounted for whether they attend the meeting or not. However, we encourage you to “gift” your registration, to a colleague, client or friend.
